Record of Lodoss War: 
I watched this one a very long time ago and probably need to revisit it to be honest. I do recall being thurilly entertained though. I would reccomend this serries to anyone who likes fantasy based animes and has a lot of time to kill. I think it was four or five DVD's in length. The action wasn't that great but the story was pretty good.
